How to cite PRINT NEWSPAPERS

APA Newspaper Article Citation

Author or authors. (Year, Month and Day). Article Title. Newspaper Title  p. or pp. 

Alphabetize works with no author by the first significant word in the title.

Examples:

Brozan, N. (2002, June 16). Where home is a real sanctuary: Sacred structures and related buildings become

     residences with spectacular details. New York Times pp. J1, J6.

Clay, N., and Raymond K. (2010, April 28). Arrest in city killings prompts prison alert. Daily Oklahoman

Author or Author's names. (Year, Month and Day of publication). Article title. Newspaper Title, if the page numbers are available--use p. or pp. before the page numbers in references for newspapers. Retrieved from http://xxxxx

Give the URL for the paper's homepage when using the online version of the article.
