Editing bays are setup for users of the media studio to perform self-guided post-production work. The Media Studio provides three editing bays.
The staff workstation is primarily by library staff to complete audiovisual projects or assist users in completing their post-production work.
Editing bay computers offer access to Adobe software programs such as, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, etc. This software can be accessed with your GoSWOSU account profile. Training courses on Adobe Creative Cloud and individual programs are available at Linkedin Learning (also available through your GoSWOSU login).
Staff workstation offer access to Sony Vegas Pro used for the majority of audio-visual projects. Training courses on Sony Vegas Pro are available at Linkedin Learning (available through your GoSWOSU login).
Audacity is a free sound editor. It makes it easy to manipulate audio files in almost any way you desire. You can use Audacity to minimize clicks and pops from old recordings, remove vocal tracks, make podcast-ready recordings, and much more.

The person using the Media Studio's equipment is liable for any copyright infringement.
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a person makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This Library reserves the right to refuse to make any copy if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the request would involve violation of copyright law.
