Media Studio

Hours

The Media Studio is available 5 days a week during regular office hours for the semester. Use of the room is by appointment only. Please consult the Media Studio's calendar for time availability. Appointment times are flexible with a student's schedule as staffing availability permits.

Instruction and Tours

Library staff provide tours of the Media Studio space with a focus on available equipment for video and audio projects. Upon request by faculty, library staff can provide an instructional session on the use of the space, equipment, editing software and provide tips and best practices for managing an audio-visual project. Tours and instructional sessions should be scheduled through the Media Studio Project Form.

This public space provides equipment for accessing a variety of multimedia formats. Most of the equipment offers the capability of transferring content from an older format, e.g., VHS or LP, to a CD or DVD. All patrons can use this equipment while the library is open. If you need assistance with the equipment, ask for help at the Circulation Desk 580-774-3730.

These devices are located in the northwest corner of the first floor of the library.
