The mission of Museum on Main Street is to provide access to the Smithsonian for small-town America. Museum on Main Street engages small-town audiences and brings attention to underserved rural communities. The Voices and Votes traveling exhibition is currently on display in the states of Florida, North Carolina and Oklahoma.

We are composing an oral history project to compliment the traveling Smithsonian Exhibit, Voices and Votes: Democracy in America. Once the interviews are complete, they will be part of the Exhibit and then added to the SWOSU Digital Archive, where they will be housed in perpetuity.
Find the date for your community and come share your ideas on Democracy in Western Oklahoma.
