ETS Test Collection Locations

The Test Collection at Educational Testing Service (ETS) is a database of more than 25,000 tests and other measurement devices most of which were created by authors outside the Educational Testing Service. ETS makes information on standardized tests and research instruments available to researchers, graduate students, and teachers. With information about tests from the early 1900s to the present, the Test Collection at ETS is the largest compilation in the world.

The tests in this collection were acquired from a variety of U.S. publishers and individual test authors. Foreign tests are also included in the collection, including some from Canada, Great Britain and Australia.

ETS differs from Mental Measurements Yearbook in that it provides information about both published and unpublished measurement tools. The ETS Test Link also provides digital copies of certain unpublished tests as a service to educators and psychologists. The purpose of these materials is to provide users with creative ideas for the development of their own instruments or, in some instances, with attributes for which no published tests are available.

The index to ETS Test Collection (volumes 1-2, 5-6) is available for use in the Reference area of the library.  The call number is: 016.37126 E115.

The ETS Test Link includes the complete collection of tests and resources.
